Charles ANDREWS (c.1772-1851), son of James ANDREWS and Sarah TAYLOR was baptised on 17 April 1772 in the Parish of Besford, Worcestershire, England.
Mary PALMER (c.1775-1849), daughter of Henry and Mary PALMER was baptised on 19 January 1776 at St Nicholas Church of the Acension, Kings Norton, Worcestershire, England.
Charles and Mary were married at St. Nicholas, Kings Norton, Worcestershire on 8 June 1794.
Charles ANDREWS (c.1772-1851), son of James ANDREWS and Sarah TAYLOR was baptised on 17 April 1772 in the Parish of Besford, Worcestershire, England.
Mary PALMER (c.1775-1849), daughter of Henry and Mary PALMER was baptised on 19 January 1776 at St Nicholas Church of the Acension, Kings Norton, Worcestershire, England.
Charles and Mary were married at St. Nicholas, Kings Norton, Worcestershire on 8 June 1794.
On 6 June 1841, Charles aged 65, an agricultural labourer and Mary aged 60, were living with their son Michael Andrews and wife Caroline and grandchildren Lucy 3 and Mary 3 mths in the township of Severn Stoke, Worcestershire.
Mary died aged 74 on 13 July 1849 at Severn Stoke, Worcestershire. She died of Constipation Marasmus (emaciation caused by malnutrition) which lasted one week. The informant was her son, Michael Andrews.
Charles died aged 79 on 8 February 1851 at Severn Stoke, Worcestershire. He died of a femoral hernia, strangulation lasting 6 days, and gangrene thinhysis. The informant was James Andrews.

1. John Andrews (c.1795-1879)
John was born about 1795 in Severn Stoke, Worcestershire, England. On 13 May 1816 aged 21, John joined the 80th Staffordshire Regiment of Foot. His regimental number was 207. On 28 May 1836 he departed England as part of the first detachment of the 80th Regiment on board the convict ship "Lady Kennaway" and he arrived in Port Jackson, NSW, Australia on 15 October 1836. He was discharged from his Regiment after 25 years service on 30 April 1841. He received a pension and also applied for and obtained the authorised remission in the purchase price of land, for which he was eligible. In 1841 he was living at Windsor, NSW and on 18 April 1842 he was living at Coasters Retreat, Palm Beach, NSW. He bought 50 acres at 20 shillings an acre. Soldiers Point is named after him. On 4 Jan 1849, as a widower he married Hannah Jackson nee Wittington also a widow. He died at Manly, NSW on 12 May 1879 after being bedridden for over two years. He had no children.
2. Charles Andrews (c.1799-1883)
Charles was born about 1799 in Severn Stoke, Worcestershire, England. In 1818 aged 19, Charles joined his brother John in the 80th Staffordshire Regiment of Foot. His regimental number was 3111. On 14 February 1832 he married Jane Isabella Davis (1815-1884) at St. Mary's Portsea, Hampshire, England. On 27 August 1836 he departed England with the soldiers of his regiment on board the convict ship "Earl Grey". In 1839 he was serving as a guard at the Norfolk Island penal colony. On 30 April 1841 he was discharged from his regiment. He was living at South Creek, St. Marys, NSW. He received a land grants for his military service of 100 acres at Cabbage Tree Beach near Manly NSW and another 50 acres at Manly. He died on 9 February 1883 at South Creek, St. Marys and was buried at St Mary Magdalene, South Creek, St Marys.

Fanny was baptised on 3 January 1809 in Severn Stoke, Worcestershire, England.
5. Michael Peter Andrews (c.1811-1889)
Michael was baptised on 28 April 1811 in Severn Stoke, Worcestershire, England. He married Caroline Rea (1816-1849) on 24 February 1835 in Severn Stoke. In the 1841 Census, Michael and his family are living with his parents Charles & Mary Andrews in Severn Stoke. He is an agricultural labourer. He and Caroline had 6 children, Charlotte 1836; Lucy 1838; Mary 1841; Elizabeth 1843, Peter 1845 and Henry 1847. After his first wife's death he married Elizabeth Lane (1811-1865) in 1851 in Severn Stoke and after her death married Sarah Boadicea Morgan in 1867. He died aged 78 and was buried on 2 April 1889 in St Clement, Worcester, Worcestershire.
